Moses Lake, one of the largest fresh waterbodies in the state of Washington, has always struggled with toxic, blue green algae blooms due to the high phosphorus levels coming from the watershed. Through local collaboration, advocacy efforts, and a clear plan, funding was secured for a mitigation project in 2024.
