Bacti-Klear® Aquatic Microbial Blend is a blend of beneficial bacteria designed to consume organic matter, improve water clarity and reduce odors in lakes and ponds. Creates a balanced pond.

  • Ideal for use after algaecide or herbicide application to consume decaying matter
  • Use with diffused aeration to increase the oxygen in the water and decompose materials more rapidly
  • Maintenance dose helps maintain a healthy pond
  • Beneficial bacteria produces enzymes – Lipase, Protease, Amylase, and Cellulase
  • Available in liquid and pellet form

Make sure the Applied Biochemist (AB) brand of products in your inventory are currently approved and registered for use in your state.

The Applied Biochemist brand products purchased by SePRO have been in transition from a regulatory process since the acquisition. All are federally registered and all existing AB factory manufactured (non-SePRO manufactured) inventory remains registered. Some of the new SePRO facility produced brand of AB products are still waiting for state registration approval. Although federally approved for many months, state registrations are still required and in process. State registrations are being updated daily. Application

Use with diffused aeration to increase the oxygen in the water and decompose materials more rapidly.

With liquid product:

  • Apply directly from container at several locations.
  • Start-up application is 3 gallons per acre-ft.
  • Maintenance application is 1.5 gallons per acre-ft. Maintenance dose helps maintain a healthy pond​.


With pelleted product:

  • Broadcast evenly using spreader or hand scoop.
  • Start-up application is 20 pounds per surface acre.
  • Maintenance application is 10 pounds per surface acre. Maintenance dose helps maintain a healthy pond​.

 

For use in residential swimming areas such as docks and beaches to reduce sediment “muck” buildup.

Regulatory

Treated water can be used immediately for fishing, swimming or irrigation.
