     With a legacy that includes TPC Sawgrass, Crooked Stick Golf Club, Whistling Straits, Harbour Town Golf Links and a host of other courses, Pete Dye doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. “I haven’t any idea why I don’t retire. I just keep digging. I’ll stop just when the man upstairs takes me.” His courses have been described as “visually intimidating” by the likes of Jim Furyk, PGA Tour star, and the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass--Dye’s 17th hole-- lives up to that description. “I don’t have any plans,” said Dye, referring to how he designs his courses, “I just go out there and start thinking.” With his fingerprints already on over 100 courses, Dye is currently tackling projects in South Carolina, Ohio, Indiana and Toronto.
