Enger Park and Lest Park golf courses are set to change management in 2015, and Billy Casper Golf- a Vienna, Va. based company- has been chosen to take over both courses as part of a five-year contract. This marks the first foray into Minnesota for Billy Casper Golf, though they already manages 140 golf courses in 28 states.
“Duluth has a tremendous future, and we’re excited to be here,” said W. Douglas White, vice-president of business development for the company. With courses that are in a deteriorated state-- and $1.6 million in the red--the city of Duluth is confident that Billy Casper Golf can turn the situation around.
