Using a bio-replicated female ash borer, alongside a 3D printed one and a dead female, an international team may have found a way to successfully control the destructive insect. The decoys, set out on leaves, were put before male ash borers; after choosing his mate— the bio-replicated female— the ash borer landed and was promptly electrocuted.
