Dr. Patrica J. Vittum, Amherst, Mass., has been announced as this year’s 2015 USGA Green Section Award winner. The award, designed to recognize distinguished service to the game of golf through work on turfgrass, is based on her work with turfgrass pests, and her ability to effectively communicate what she finds to those in the field.
