FasTEST® Analytical Technology
FasTEST analytical technology provides rapid and accurate analysis of aquatic herbicide and algaecide concentrations in water. FasTEST data are used for monitoring treatment programs and regulatory compliance. FasTEST analytical methods have been developed and verified for monitoring ten active ingredients, including the following SePRO aquatic products: ProcellaCOR®, Sonar®, Renovate®, Renovate® MAX G, Sculpin® G, Galleon®, Clearcast®, Nautique®, Komeen®, Captain®, Captain® XTR, K-Tea®, Habitat® and Stingray®.

GenTEST® Aquatic Plant Genetics Assessment
GenTEST is an advanced assessment technology that examines specific genetic sequences of aquatic plant DNA (deoxyribonucleic acids) to predict response to management with aquatic herbicides. Using the GenTEST, resource managers have improved confidence in the outcome of management activities and practice the highest level of stewardship in the management of aquatic plants. Please contact your SePRO Aquatic Specialist for more information about designing a monitoring plan.

PlanTEST® Bioassay
PlanTEST is a pre-treatment aquatic plant bioassay that determines the susceptibility of plants to aquatic herbicides. Pre-treatment plant samples are gathered from a water body and processed at the SRTC. SePRO uses assay results in developing site-specific treatment prescriptions.

EffecTEST® Biochemical Assay
EffecTEST is a post-treatment aquatic plant biochemical assay which assesses the current status of herbicide treatment programs. Tissue samples from a treated water body are gathered, processed and analyzed at the SRTC to determine the level of herbicide injury in those plants. SePRO and resource managers utilize these data to assess treatment status and make adjustments to treatment protocols as needed to achieve desired plant control.

Why monitor? Routine assessment of key water quality parameters provides valuable information about the health of a waterbody. Analysis and documentation of water quality parameters provide data necessary to prompt and assess management activities, establish and achieve ecological benchmarks and comply with regulatory thresholds.
Water Quality Baseline Bundle
An analysis of baseline water quality parameters.
The WQ Bundle provides quantitative analysis of baseline water quality parameters used in the assessment and management of water resources. EPA standard methods are utilized to quantify the following water parameters; alkalinity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, hardness, pH, phosphorus (total and free reactive) and turbidity. Results are available within 7 days of sample receipt.
Water Quality Baseline Plus Bundle
Baseline water quality analysis plus complete nutrient assessment.
This bundle includes the analysis covered in the WQ Baseline Bundle plus chlorophyll a, nitrates, nitrites and total nitrogen for a complete nutrient assessment. Reporting also includes a trophic index indicator. Results available within 7 days of sample receipt.
Water Quality Individual Bundle
You select the water quality parameters to quantify.
Individually select the water quality parameters to meet your water management objectives. Sample collection bottles are available from SePRO Corporation.
Algae ID Panel
When you simply need to know the algae present in your waterbody.
The panel services include algae identification, classification, description and density or biomass
enumeration. The data generated from this analysis provides valuable information for the development
and assessment of algae management programs. Results are available within 7 days of sample receipt.
Algae and Water Quality Baseline Plus Bundle
A complete assessment of algae and water quality conditions.
This bundle includes algae ID/enumeration, all the analytical services provided in the Water Quality
Baseline Plus Bundle and a treatment prescription. Results are available within 7 days of sample receipt by the laboratory.
Comprehensive Algae Bioassay
The recommended analysis for the development of a custom treatment prescription when managing complex and challenging algae problems.
This analysis includes all the services of the Algae and Water Quality Baseline Plus Bundle. In addition, algae and water samples collected from the waterbody will be subjected to a multi-phase bioassay to evaluate site specific response to various
algaecides. Data from the bioassay will be utilized to develop a custom treatment prescription for the waterbody. Please
contact SePRO to discuss project objectives and sample collection prior shipment to the laboratory.
